This lasso-shaped loop encompasses three mining towns, verdant river valleys and abundant sources of wildlife. You’ll see historic towns like Redstone, Worley named for the rugged red sandstone surrounds, and Marble, the location of a vast marble quarry. Veering to the south, the loop passes the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and ends with a blooming finish in Crested Butte, the Wildflower Capital of Colorado.
